These 3-ingredient Banana Cookies are vegan and gluten-free. You just need three simple ingredients and fifteen minutes to make these healthy cookies!
It’s hard to believe, but if you put mashed banana, rolled oats, and chocolate chips together and bake them, they come out as a delicious, healthy cookie!
I remember the first time I made 3-ingredient Banana Cookies. I couldn’t believe they were so good with just bananas and oats as the base.
There’s some added sugar from the dark chocolate chips, but no other sugars are added. That’s pretty rare with a cookie! You could even use these stevia-sweetened chocolate chips if you want/need these made with totally no added sugars.
What’s really great about these 3-ingredient Banana Cookies is they takes 5 minutes to mix together and 10 minutes to bake. You’re 15 minutes away from a sweet treat that’s healthy enough to be considered a breakfast cookie!
I find the best ratio of banana to oats is 1:2. I mash and measure my banana, and it usually ends up at 2 1/2 medium bananas to get 1 cup of mashed banana. Then I add my oats and chocolate chips and it’s baking time. So easy!I use a cookie scoop and don’t flatten them. I like them better and think they hold together better this way.
Right out of the oven, these 3-ingredient Banana Cookies are of course delicious. I know I have trouble waiting for them to cool. BUT…they do hold together best when you let them cool completely first. I just keep them on the cookie sheet and let them cool that way.
I hope your family loves these as much as we do!
