Chocolate Bliss Balls

These Chocolate Bliss Balls make a quick and healthy snack while satisfying your chocolate cravings. Quick and easy recipe ready in 15 minutes!Chocolate Bliss Balls recipeHeads up! This Chocolate Bliss Balls recipe was first published in February 2015. I made the slightest update to the recipe to make it more fudgey (always a good thing!) and updated the photos, March 2018. Enjoy!

I have to tell you about the conversation that went on when I taking pictures of these Chocolate Bliss Balls.

Tim:  Taking more pictures of terd balls?

My mother-in-law, Fran:  Tim! Those are delicious!

Tim:  I know they’re good.  But don’t you have a billion terd ball recipes on your site already? (Looking at me.)

Maryea:  You can never have too many Chocolate Bliss Ball recipes.Chocolate Bliss Balls recipe overhead shot

Whether you call them terd balls, bliss balls, energy balls, energy bites, Larabar copycats, or healthy snacks, don’t you agree?  Having some healthy balls on hand is a necessity.  Now that sounds worse than calling them terd balls.  Let me just get to the recipe!

4 ingredients.  Including chocolate.  Ready in 10 minutes.  15 minutes if you get interrupted, which you probably will if your house is anything like mine. You can handle 15 minutes, though, right? What are you waiting for? Just look at how fudgy they are!

These Chocolate Bliss balls make a quick and easy healthy snack!

  • Author: Happy Healthy Mama
  • Prep Time: 15 mins
  • Total Time: 15 mins
  • Yield: 16
  • Category: Snacks

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cashews
  • 3/4 cup pitted dates
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/8 cup raw honey or maple syrup
  • splash of milk (I use unsweetened almond milk)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender until crumbly.
  2. Add a splash of milk and process again. Test the mixture to see that it will hold together, but isn’t too sticky. If it’s too sticky, add a bit more cocoa powder. If it’s too dry, add another small splash of milk.
  3. Roll the mixture into approximately 1-inch balls (bigger or smaller if you prefer).
  4. Store in the refrigerator. Enjoy!

Notes

Optional: Drizzle melted chocolate on the top for added decadence.
