While summer hasn’t officially started, I’m sure most of you are already settling into summer mode. For me, a big part of embracing the summer season is taking advantage of all the fresh, local produce that is available.
Whether you are a part of a CSA, grow your own fruits and vegetables, or are a frequent shopper at farmer’s markets, I hope you do take advantage of the growing season and enjoying the fruits and vegetables that are in season now.
To help inspire and encourage you, I’m running a series all summer called “In Season Now.” Throughout the summer, I’ll bring you as many quality recipes that I can find that feature in-season fruits or vegetables.
Let’s start with bell peppers! Whether bell peppers are already in season where you live, or you are waiting patiently for them to grow, this list of bell pepper recipes will inspire you and leave you with plenty of ideas for using bell peppers for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks!
